Promo codes: a key to an offer, not a better deal
Promo codes — also called bonus codes, coupon codes or voucher codes — are short strings that unlock a specific offer. They are surrounded by more myth than any other part of casino marketing: lists of "secret codes", codes that supposedly beat the standard terms, codes that expired a year ago. This page explains how codes usually work and how to use one without surprises. We do not publish codes for Ninja; any valid code and its terms come from the operator's site, the account or the operator's own communication. The overview of offers is on the bonus page, and the home page has the full guide.
Where a code is entered
There are three usual places. At registration, a field labelled something like "promo code" or "bonus code" ties an offer to the new account. At deposit, the cashier may show a code field next to the amount. In the account's promotions or bonus section, a code can be redeemed separately. If a code is meant for a particular step and you enter it at another, it often simply does not work — and some offers cannot be added afterwards, so read where the code belongs before you register or pay.
What a code changes — and what it does not
A code selects which offer applies to you. It does not override that offer's terms. A code that unlocks a deposit match brings the same wagering requirement, expiry, game contribution and maximum bet as any other route to that offer would. If a website promises an "exclusive" code with better terms, the only place to confirm those terms is the operator's own promotion page or the bonus details in your account after activation. Treat any code from an unofficial list as unverified until the account shows it.
When a code does not work
- The code has expired or was limited to a period or number of uses.
- It is restricted to new accounts, specific countries or specific payment methods.
- Another bonus is already active and cannot be combined with it.
- It was entered at the wrong step, or with a typo — codes are often case-sensitive.
Support can tell you which reason applies. If an offer was promised but not credited, ask before you start playing; once you have played with the deposit, it is usually too late to attach the bonus.
How this affects your withdrawal
Because a code activates an offer, it also activates that offer's withdrawal rules. A balance unlocked by a code is tied to wagering until the requirement is met, and a withdrawal requested before then can be blocked or can remove the bonus and its winnings. If a code activated an offer you did not want, ask support to remove it before you play — removing a bonus after play has started usually removes the winnings too. Once the balance is free, the payout goes through the usual statuses, described in the withdrawal guide. The bonus terms guide lists the clauses worth reading before you redeem anything.
