Cricket betting: a niche in Estonia, a giant elsewhere

For readers in Estonia, where this site is based, cricket is a niche sport; for a large part of the world it is the main event on the sports calendar. That contrast is a good reason to approach cricket markets carefully: if you do not follow the sport closely, the bookmaker almost certainly knows more than you do. Whether your Ninja account includes sports betting at all is something to check in the account menu — we cannot confirm it from the outside. The basics of odds are on the betting hub.

Three formats, three different sports

Test matches last up to five days, and a draw is a real result when time runs out — which changes the match market completely. One-day matches give each side a limited number of overs and almost always produce a winner. T20 is the short format: twenty overs per side, a few hours in total, high scoring and highly volatile. Knowing the format is the first step to reading any price.

Main markets

The match winner market is the simplest; in Test cricket it includes the draw. Innings runs (over/under a total for a team's innings), top batter and top bowler are popular specials, and in-play markets follow each over. Many markets depend on the toss and on pitch conditions, which are known only shortly before the start.

Weather and settlement rules

Rain affects cricket more than most sports. Shortened matches may be decided by a calculation method, abandoned matches may void bets, and the rules for each market differ. Before betting, read how the bookmaker settles a match that is shortened or abandoned. This is not a footnote: in a wet season it decides a large share of results.

In-play cricket

Prices move after every wicket and big over. Because the game is long, in-play markets can tempt you to bet continuously for hours; a fixed budget for the whole match is the simplest protection.

Winnings and the withdrawal path

Cricket winnings land in the same balance as any other. If you used a free bet or another betting promotion, check that its conditions are met before requesting a withdrawal; open conditions are a frequent reason for a blocked request. The request then moves through Pending, Processing, Approved and Sent, and the first payout normally waits for identity verification — in Estonia usually with an ID card, Smart-ID or Mobile-ID. The withdrawal guide explains every step, and the bet types page covers totals and handicaps.

If you are new to the sport, small stakes and a few matches of watching without betting are the cheapest education available.
