Refer a friend: a reward with two sets of conditions
Refer-a-friend programmes reward you when someone you invite opens an account and meets certain conditions. Sometimes the friend receives a welcome reward as well. The idea is simple; the practice involves more rules than most promotions, because the operator has to make sure the "friend" is a real, separate person. This page explains how such programmes usually work. Whether Ninja runs one, and on what terms, is shown on the operator's site and in the account; we do not publish it. The overview of offers is on the bonus page, and the home page has the full guide.
How a referral usually works
- You get a personal invite link or code from your account.
- Your friend registers through that link or enters the code at sign-up.
- The friend meets the qualifying conditions — typically a first deposit of at least a stated amount, sometimes a certain amount of play.
- The reward is credited, to you and sometimes to the friend, as bonus money, free spins or cash.
For example, a hypothetical programme might credit a reward once the friend has deposited and wagered a set amount within thirty days. If the friend uses a different link or forgets the code, the referral usually cannot be added afterwards.
Anti-abuse rules
Referral programmes attract abuse, so their terms are strict. Common rules: the friend must not live at the same address or use the same device, IP address or payment method as you; the friend must be of legal age and pass verification; rewards may be limited to a number of referrals per period. Inviting yourself through a second account is the classic violation, and it usually ends with both accounts closed and rewards removed. Invite people who would genuinely want to play — and remember that recommending gambling to someone is a responsibility.
How this affects your withdrawal
A referral reward is a promotion like any other, so its form decides what happens at the cashier. If it arrives as bonus money or free spins, it usually carries wagering, and the balance is tied up until that is complete; a withdrawal requested earlier can be blocked or can remove the reward. If it is paid as cash, it can be withdrawn with the rest of your balance. In either case, the operator may review referral rewards more closely before paying out, and both accounts may need to be verified — in Estonia identity is typically confirmed with the ID card, Smart-ID or Mobile-ID. The payout path is explained in the withdrawal guide, and the clauses to check are in the bonus terms guide.
Is it worth it?
For most players, a referral reward is a small extra, not a reason to recruit friends. Its value is real only if the friend would have joined anyway and if both of you read the conditions before acting. If gambling is causing problems for you or for someone you might invite, the responsible gambling page is the better place to start.
