Bitcoin at Ninja: what the blockchain changes and what it does not

Bitcoin is the best-known cryptocurrency and, where a cashier offers it, a way to pay without cards or bank accounts in between. It changes some things about deposits and withdrawals — speed depends on the network, payments cannot be reversed, the value moves — and leaves others exactly as they are, above all verification. If Bitcoin is listed in the Ninja cashier for your account, this page explains both sides. The set of methods and limits depends on the account — check the cashier. General crypto rules are on the crypto page; all methods are on the payments overview; the home page has the full guide.

Depositing Bitcoin

The cashier shows a Bitcoin deposit address, often with a QR code. You send the amount from your own wallet or exchange account, paying a network fee to the miners. The deposit is credited after a set number of confirmations, which the cashier defines. Bitcoin blocks come on average about every ten minutes, but with a low fee your transaction may wait longer to be included. Copy the address with the copy button and verify the first and last characters before sending — an address cannot be "corrected" after the fact.

Note the conversion. Many cashiers convert the coins to the account currency, typically euros for Estonian players, at the rate shown when the deposit is credited. Others keep a balance in Bitcoin. Which model applies decides whether price movements affect your casino balance.

Withdrawing Bitcoin

A Bitcoin payout follows the usual statuses: Pending, Processing, Approved, Sent. The blockchain only takes over at the last step. Before that, the operator reviews the request like any other; identity verification is still required, and for larger sums source-of-funds questions are possible. Using crypto does not make you anonymous to the operator. When the payout is sent, ask for — or look for — the transaction ID: it lets you follow the transfer on any public block explorer and proves that the money has left the operator.

Enter a receiving address you control, and double-check it. Some operators expect crypto payouts to go to the same address you deposited from; others accept any Bitcoin address in your name. The payment terms say which.

TopicWhat to know
SpeedDepends on confirmations and network fee, not on banking days
ReversibilityNone — a wrong address means lost coins
ValueMoves with the market between deposit and payout
VerificationStill required before the first withdrawal

The complete payout process, including cancelling a request and disputes, is in the withdrawal guide.

Bitcoin questions

Why is my Bitcoin deposit still unconfirmed?
Bitcoin blocks arrive on average about every ten minutes, and the cashier waits for a set number of confirmations. A low network fee can also leave the transaction waiting longer. The transaction ID in a block explorer shows its progress.
Can a Bitcoin payout be sent to an exchange account?
Technically yes, if the address is a Bitcoin address in your name at that exchange. Some operators prefer payouts to the address you deposited from, so check the payment terms before you request one.
Does the Bitcoin price affect my winnings?
If your balance is converted to euros on deposit, the price matters twice: at the deposit rate and again at the payout rate. If the account holds Bitcoin itself, your winnings move with the price until you sell.
